My sister has red hair and mine is auburn so I have no problem at all with red hair. And being Scottish, as a nation we're stereotypically red-haired aren't we? If you ask the average American tourist what a Scotsman looks like they'll say they have red hair, a tartan hat on top and they're wearing a kilt and some kind of jacket / vest. Yes it's true, I too have had experience of seeing them all troop out of the local gift shops with the jokey hair and hat combos!!

Personally, I'm not a fan of ginger hair - but this is down to the pale, freckly skin tone that comes with it - I prefer tan to pale skin.

However, I don't discriminate against gingers and have met some very attractive ginger women in my time. I think people mostly discriminate against gingers as a joke, a la Catharine Tate.
