I think everybody is beautiful for who they are, hair should not mean nothing sadly in this media dictated world it does. But personally we should all be proud of who we are and don't be scared of being individual. After all could you live being subservient to the powers that be?

I have auburn hair which is basically brown with natural tones of red, copper and blond. I love my hair. I've got comments on the colour ever since I can remember.

I think dark red hair is very sexy and rare.

I can't stand bright orange hair though, I just can't find it attractive on a man or woman!

I think people always find a negative with something that stands out...I mean someone who is ginger/red stand out a lot more than blondes/brunettes...however...I think that people with red/ginger hair look great... I mean as an example...they always refer to nicola from girls aloud as "the ugly ginger one!" when In fact most blokes I speak to think she's hot....

Like I said, if people can put someone into a minority, then they will do...

P.S Have you seen what catherine tate does with ginger people on her show...very funny...but offensive in the same light...

I have a lot of red in my hair, I used to be very ginger when I was younger but I have gone a lot darker naturally. I think that having pale skin freckles and reddy/brown hair has always been part of my appearance and so theres nothing wrong with being natural.

I think people think that gingers are nerds. Esspecialy when they wear glasses. I think ginger looks quite nice. Like Rupert Grint, he looks hot with ginger!

you are right but why is hair dye so popular in the red and gingery shades .... it doesnt make sense that these are the best seling shades and yet being a natural red head is not cool

I am half Irish, with the complection and hair to match my heritage. I have never had anyone complain about my red hair, except maybe in elemetary school (long, long ago, and far, far away). Now the freckles are a bit different, but it is a part of me.

Most guys love it, and women are envious of natural redheads.

My lil girl has the most beautiful strawberry blonde hair that most girls would kill for! It does go alot more red in the winter and it's still fab - I have dark hair that I dye red!

I have no clue why people are like that. I felt like the outcast in elementary and middle school because of my red hair. It has gotten a lot darker within the years and have also gotten highlights to blend in with the red. (My husband says I "tricked" him because I had blond hair when he met me...it was highlighted!) Anyway my red hair has been passed onto my offspring so there are 2 more natural redheads into the world. My oldest (2) has more a strawberry blond hair and my youngest (2 months) right now her hair is really red, we will see as she gets older if it gets more blond like her sister. I hope society is changing their views towards redheads because I don't want my daughters to feel like the outcast like I did.

I have naturally red hair and i love it. maybe not in elementary school because peolple used tro call me carrot top but now i love it!! i straighten it because it is naturally curly and my friends compliment me ALL the time and so have the guys...

my bloke has red hair and i have to say i love it. i tell him constantly its beautiful. its so soft and shiny (he has it short and spikey but the shaved bits at the back shine like mad!!!I get jelous!)

my best friends is a natural ginger %26amp; her hair is gorgeous..

but then she died it cause she wanted a change (nothing to do with actually being ginger she just wanted a change like lots of people do) but then she started missing her natural colour so now shes got to grow it out......

i think some people are threatened by people who are different so they decide to make fun of what their threatened by rather than compliment it...

Good question..i dont have anything AGAINST with people with red or ginger hair...usually on women its naturaly wavy/curly, dont think ive ever seen straight hair on them either unless theyve had it straightened, it beats my own hair colour anyday lol...there's something about that colour hair on people which just shouts out" i'm different to the rest ".

I really quite like red hair. If its really frizzy and thick, it's not that nice, but if it's smooth and well cared for, it's gorgeous!

I'm a red head with freckles - I have never received a bad comment about my haircolour or my freckles. Quite the opposite.

I love red hair especially the orangy red (I call it Irish red) and think its beautiful.

I'm sad to know that some people get bullied but I think its prejudice nothing else. If you want to pick on someone you find something and with ginger haired people it will always be the hair (- goes back to the witch hunts).

I have always had a thing about ginger hair - to me it is always reddygold and has so many shades from dark to light. I died my hair a light ginger in my teens everyone but my mum thought it looked good she got some stuff to make me die it back it turned green instead, took months to get it decent and years for my hair to repair itself - she wished she had left it alone - especially as my new boyfriend ditched me over it going green. I still wish I had had 'red' hair
